Bioflavonoids – aka flavonoids or “vitamin P” – are a large class of powerful phytochemicals. They appear in fruit, vegetables and herbs, and are best absorbed in their raw form. At 1equine we have incorporated our revolutionary “Freeze-dried” technology, to ensure we maximise our raw ingredients nutrient levels and also significantly concentrate the bioflavonoid levels.
Studies have shown that bioflavonoids help strengthen the capillaries, can improve microcirculation, capillary flow and vascular tone, ultimately resulting in superior cardiovascular health.
Oxyflex contains an extensive range of bioflavonoids, including Rutin, Quercetin, Hisperidin, Catechin and Ellagic acid. Each bioflavonoid has unique properties that provide excellent health properties. When they work synergistically their potency is heightened
even further.
Research also reveals that active bioflavonoids have anti-fatigue (including Lactic Acid buildup) effects that can reduce the damage of oxidative stress caused by high intensity exercise.
